SSAWW 2018 Triennial Conference



All presenters and attendees must register to attend the conference.

Conference presenters (including panelists, chairs, roundtable participants, CV reviewers, mock interview participants, etc.) MUST be current SSAWW members* by September 28, 2018.  You can check your membership status by contacting VP of Membership and Finance Toya T. Conference registration fees
  • Regular Member Conference Registration**: $200
  • Graduate Student Conference Registration: $135
  • Regular Member Late Conference Registration (after Oct. 19th and onsite): $225
  • Graduate Student Late Conference Registration (after Oct. 19th and onsite): $150
  • General Visitor Admission One-Day Conference Pass***: $50
  • Student Visitor Admission One-Day Conference Pass***: $25

Conference registration fees include access to all panels, receptions, and luncheon events including the Keynote Address with Staceyann Chin, SSAWW President’s Address and Luncheon (Thursday), Mentoring Breakfasts (Thursday and Friday), and SSAWW Awards’ Ceremony and Luncheon (Saturday).

*SSAWW membership is separate from membership in Affiliate (author-based) societies. If you are presenting as part of an author-based affiliate society panel, please check with your panel chair to see if membership in their society is also a requirement for presenting.

**A portion of the Regular Member Conference registration fee will support graduate student travel awards.

***Conference presenters, panel chairs, etc. are not eligible for the General/Student Visitor One-Day passes

Conference Registration Refund Policy

If you register for the conference and are unable to attend, please get in touch with the conference director, Christopher Varlack, ssaww.vpdevelopment@gmail.com, and the  VP of Membership and Finance as soon as possible ssaww.vpmembershipandfinances@gmail.com.

From July 2nd – September 30th – 50% refund for registration fees

After October 1st – 0% refund for registration fees
