The Department of English at Emory University invites applications for the Longstreet Chair. We seek a prominent scholar with a distinguished international reputation in the field of Africana literature and culture at the rank of advanced associate or full professor. Areas of expertise may include, but are not limited to: black women’s literature, gender and sexuality, literary and cultural theory. The Ph.D. is required.
