The Department of English and Fine Arts anticipates hiring an Assistant Professor in American minority literatures (e.g. Native, Latina/o, Asian, African, and/or American ethnic) and/or modern drama beginning June 27, 2016. Diasporic/hemispheric approaches and interdisciplinary studies are especially welcome. The initial appointment will be for three years. Successive reappointments of up to four years are possible. Responsibilities include teaching core and majors’ English courses and fulfilling associated departmental duties. Ph.D. in English, Comparative Literature, and/or multi-cultural/ethnic studies disciplines and/or modern drama with demonstrated expertise in the specified fields by the time of the appointment is required.
