Call for Papers – Proposals due February 15, 2015

Schooldays in New England: 1650-1900

The 2015 conference of The Dublin Seminar for New England Folklife,Schooldays in New England: 1650-1900, will be held at Historic Deerfield, Deerfield, Massachusetts, June 19-21, 2015. 

Proposals for papers and demonstrations on the culture of education in New England and adjacent areas of New York and Canada from the seventeenth through the nineteenth centuries are due by February 15, 2015.

The thirty-ninth meeting in the Seminar series, Schooldays in New England, will take place in Deerfield, Massachusetts. The program will consist of approximately seventeen lectures of twenty minutes each, with related tours. Professional development points will be available for public school teachers. Selected papers will appear as the 2015 Annual Proceedings of the Dublin Seminar to be issued about eighteen months after theconference.
