Springfield College invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of American Literature in the Department of Humanities. The College is seeking candidates with experience teaching pre-Civil War American literature with additional expertise in diverse literatures and film studies. A strong commitment to equity, diversity and student success is required. Responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester including first-year writing.
Successful candidates must have an earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution and demonstrate excellence in teaching. ABDs will be considered.
