Assistant Professor in 20th and/or 21st century American prose (TCU)

The English Department at TCU invites applications for an Assistant Professor in 20th and/or 21st century American prose. The successful candidate will display a sustained research agenda and a commitment to teaching in a department that offers the BA in English and Writing, the MA and PhD in English, and the PhD in rhetoric and composition. Applicants should be prepared to teach a range of major works and authors and may have a sub-specialization in one or more of the following areas: Asian American or Native American literatures, queer studies, and disability studies. Competitive teaching load, salary, and research support. Position to begin in August 2015. Successful applicants must have Ph.D. in English by July 1, 2015.
