American Literature Tenure-Track Position – Assistant Professor Department of English McGill University
The Department of English at McGill University invites applications for a tenure-track position in twentieth-century and contemporary American literature. The Department seeks candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service. The successful candidate will develop a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in American literature. This position is at the rank of Assistant Professor. The teaching assignment is 12 credits (4 courses) per academic year. Evidence of scholarly promise is a major consideration. Knowledge of French and some teaching experience are assets for this position. Applicants must have a PhD in hand or be very near completion.
